SPECIAL BOARD MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 

Minutes of the Special Board Meeting of the President and Board of Trustees for the Village of Stanford, held at Village Hall @ 6:00PM.

I.                   ROLL CALL:

Present: 5 – President John Owen, Trustees Jim Bridgewater, Nydra Owen, Normadee Miller and Lou Trunnell.

Absent: 2- Trustees Homer Smith and Jeremiah Pitcher

Also present: Katherine Mulvey (Farnsworth Group)

II.               NEW BUSINESS:

  • The Board discussed the proposed 2015 Motor Fuel Tax program (MFT). Katherine Mulvey with Farnsworth Group presented the board with the 2015 program and resolution.  The program appropriated $26,000.00 to the program, the total cost of the program are estimated at $24,644.24. Areas of Kathleen Street and Stringtown Road will be seal coated this year.

     

    Trustee N. Owen moved, seconded by Trustee Bridgewater to approve the resolution 05-15 for the 2015 motor fuel tax program, not to exceed $26,000.00.

    On roll call, the vote was:

     

    AYES: 4- Trustees Bridgewater, N. Owen, Trunnell and Miller.

     

    NAYS- 0

     

    ABSENT: 2- Trustees Smith and Pitcher

     

    There being 4 affirmative votes the motion carried.

     

  • President Owen informed the Board of Trustees that the new maintenance building has not been purchased yet.

     

     

III:      MOTION TO ADJOURN @ 6:18pm

 

There being no further business to discuss, Trustee N. Owen moved, seconded by Trustee Miller, to adjourn @6:18pm.
